Our client is on the hunt for a Lead DevOps Engineer to manage a team of 8, whilst staying hands on with technologies like AWS, Terraform, Docker & Jenkins.

This company runs a total Health & Wellbeing platform that has been sold to over 15,000 organisations and has 37 million users worldwide. Some existing customers include Aviva, Burberry, Walgreens, Expedia, Intel, and Nestlé Canada. The platform is designed specifically to prevent and manage issues/concerns around family, health, life, money, and work matters.

Experience/Technology (required)

• 5+ years’ experience using AWS in production, utilising services such as S3, EC2, ELB, ASG, Lambda, RDS, ECS and EKS.
• Linux operating experience.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins in a working environment.
• Well versed in at least one scripting/programming language.
• Knowledge of software design patterns (microservices, messaging, distributed architecture)
• Experience directly managing 3+ engineers in a similar role.
• Defining roadmaps & project prioritization in a previous role.

Experience/Technology (desirable)

• Programming experience in Python, NodeJS, Java or PHP.
• Configuration management experience using Puppet or Ansible.
• Experience with Azure.
• Working in global teams across multiple time zones.
